Director's Notes

What Kodak wanted was to convey the idea that their new line of pocket cameras create pictures that rival the image quality of “proper” 35mm cameras...

So I was bouncing ideas around with a friend, and we came up with the concept that a professional photographer should secretly use a Kodak camera instead of a professional camera for his work - and that no one would be able to tell the difference.

We actually shot an “alternative” ending to this commercial - where the model sees herself on a huge billboard on London?s Leicester Square and then jumps on the photographer out of joy... it worked, but would've run for too long.
